Young researchers and PhD students are especially encouraged to submit their contributions

Selected high-quality contributions presented at EnergEn 2026 will be nvited for publication, following peer review, in relevant international journals aligned with the conference topics, such as:

Submission and review process

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished contributions to EnergEn 2026 through the conference submission platform. Submissions may be made in the form of extended abstracts, in accordance with the conference guidelines.

All submissions will undergo a peer-review process coordinated by the Scientific Committee, ensuring high scientific quality, relevance to the conference themes, and originality. Each contribution will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers, selected based on their expertise in the corresponding field.

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, submissions will be accepted for oral or poster presentation. Authors of accepted contributions will be invited to submit revised versions addressing the reviewers’ comments.

Selected high-quality papers presented at EnergEn 2026 will be recommended for publication, following an additional peer-review process, in international journals aligned with the conference topics. Publication will be subject to the editorial policies and review standards of each journal.

To encourage the participation of early-career researchers, Young Researcher contributions will be evaluated for dedicated awards, based on scientific quality, originality, and presentation

Awards : eligibility and evaluation criteria 

Award recipients will be selected by a dedicated Evaluathetion Committee, appointed by the Scientific Committee. The awards will be announced during Closing Ceremony of EnergEn 2026.

Best Poster Presentation Award

Eligibility:
• All accepted poster presentations are automatically considered.

Evaluation Criteria:
• Scientific content and originality
• Visual clarity and design
• Ability to clearly communicate key messages
• Quality of discussion with the audience

Best Oral Presentation Award

Eligibility:
• All accepted oral presentations are automatically considered.

Evaluation Criteria:
• Scientific contribution and innovation
• Clarity and structure of the presentation
• Quality of visual materials
• Engagement with the audience and responses to questions

Best Young Researcher Paper Award

This award is intended to encourage and recognize outstanding contributions from early-career researchers.

Eligibility:
• The presenting author must be a PhD student or an early-career researcher (up to 10 years after PhD completion at the time of submission).
• The candidate must be the first author and presenter of the paper.

Evaluation Criteria:
• Scientific quality and originality
• Relevance to the conference themes
• Methodological soundness
• Quality of presentation and discussion
